Navigation System DTC Troubleshooting: 2611

DTC 2611:

HDD Diag

NOTE:

- Check the vehicle battery condition first Testing and Inspection.
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the General Troubleshooting Information Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode, then back to ON (II), or the ON mode.

2. Go into the System Diagnostic Mode, and select the Self-Diagnosis Mode in the Select Diagnosis items menu Navigation System Diagnostic Mode 1.

3. Select the System Links, then select the HDD.

Is HDD OK indicated?

YES -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.�

NO -

Go to step 4.

4. Check the HDD diagnosis.

Is the Low Temp indicated?

YES -

Make sure the dash temperature is normal, and recheck. If the vehicle repeatedly comes back with the DTC, replace the HDD HDD Removal/Installation (With Navigation). If the symptom is still present, replace the audio-navigation unit Audio-Navigation Unit Removal/Installation.�

NO -

Replace the audio-navigation unit Audio-Navigation Unit Removal/Installation.�
