Fuel Door Release Actuator: Testing and Inspection

Fuel Fill Door Lock Actuator Test/Replacement

1. Open the trunk lid, and remove the left trunk side trim panel. Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Trunk Area

2. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the fuel fill door lock actuator (B).

3. Check actuator operation by connecting power to terminal No. 2 and ground to terminal No. 1 momentarily.
NOTE: To prevent damage to the actuator, apply battery voltage momentarily.
