Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Rear Door Sill Area

Special Tools Required

- KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014*

Rear Door Sill Area

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim or the panels.

- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Rear Seat Removal/Installation

2. Release the hooks (A) and the tab (B) from the B-pillar lower trim (C). Pull up the rear door sill trim (D) by hand to detach the clips (E, F), then remove the trim from the rear door opening seal (G).






3. If necessary, pull up the rear side outer trim (A) to release the hook, then remove the trim.






4. Pull out the rear door opening seal (A) from the trim hooks (B) around the rear door opening flange, then remove the seal.

5. Install the trim in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.

- Push the clips, the hooks, and the tab into place securely.
