Rear Engine Mount Removal and Installation

Removal

1. Remove the engine compartment covers. Service and Repair

2. Remove the strut brace. Frame Brace Replacement

3. Disconnect the vacuum hose (A) from the three way valve (B).






4. Remove the rear engine mount stop (A), then remove the rear engine mount bolt (B).






5. Remove the vacuum hose (A) from the clamp (B), then remove the engine mount mounting bolts (C), the harness clamp (D), and the harness bracket (E).






6. Lift and support the engine with a jack and a wood block under the engine/transmission.

7. Remove the rear engine mount (A) and disconnect the vacuum hose (B).






Installation

1. Connect the vacuum hose (A), then install the rear engine mount (B).

2. Route the vacuum hose through the hole in the mount base bracket (C).






3. Align the rear engine mount with its mounting holes and install the rear engine mount mounting bolts (A).

4. Install the harness bracket (B) and the harness clamp (C), then install the vacuum hose (D) on its clamp (E) at the mark (F).

5. Remove the jack and the wood block.






6. Tighten the rear engine mount bolt (A), then install the rear engine mount stop (B).






7. Connect the vacuum hose (A) to the three way valve (B).

9. Install the engine compartment covers. Service and Repair
