Warm Up TWC Removal/Installation

FRONT (Bank 2)

1. Remove the No. 2 the ignition coil and the ignition coil heat insulator.

2. Remove the front A/F sensor (Sensor 1) A/F Sensor Replacement and the front secondary HO2S (Sensor 2). Secondary HO2S Replacement

3. Remove the exhaust pipe A mounting nuts (front WU-TWC side). Service and Repair

4. Remove the EGR pipe. Service and Repair

5. Remove the A/C condenser fan assembly Service and Repair and the radiator upper bracket/cushion. Service and Repair

6. Remove the front WU-TWC bracket, then carefully remove the front WU-TWC.

7. Carefully install the front WU-TWC with a new gasket and new self-locking nuts. Tighten the nuts in a crisscross pattern in two or three steps.

8. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.






REAR (Bank 1)

1. Remove the strut brace.

2. Remove the cowl cover. Service and Repair

3. Remove the engine wire harness holder mounting bolts.

4. Remove the No. 4 ignition coil and the ignition coil heat insulator.

5. Remove the P/S heat shield. EPS Steering Gearbox Removal/Installation

6. Remove the rear A/F sensor (Sensor 1) A/F Sensor Replacement and the rear secondary HO2S (Sensor 2). Secondary HO2S Replacement

7. Remove the exhaust pipe A mounting nuts (rear WU-TWC side). Service and Repair

8. Carefully remove the rear WU-TWC.

9. Carefully install the rear WU-TWC with a new gasket and new self-locking nuts. Tighten the nuts in a crisscross pattern in two or three steps.

10. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
