Shift lever cannot be moved from P while pressing on the brake pedal

Diagnostic Procedure:

1. Brake pedal position switch circuit

2. Brake pedal position switch defective

3. Shift lock solenoid defective

4. Shift lock solenoid control circuit

5. Shift lock mechanism defective

6. Transmission range switch ATPP switch stuck OFF

7. Transmission range switch ATPP switch circuit open

8. Accelerator pedal position sensor circuit

9. Accelerator pedal position sensor defective

10. Throttle body defective

11. PCM defective

Also check for:

- Inspect the APP sensor signal. Testing and Inspection
