Upper Transmission Mount Removal and Installation

Removal-M/T model

1. Remove the front splash shield Front Splash Shield Replacement.

2. Remove the engine compartment covers Service and Repair.

3. Remove the air cleaner Service and Repair.

4. Lift and support the engine with a jack and a wood block under the transmission.

5. Remove the upper transmission mount bracket mounting bolts.

NOTE: Do not remove the bolt (A) from the upper transmission mount. If the bolt is removed, the upper transmission mount must be replaced as an assembly.






6. Remove the upper transmission mount.






Installation-M/T model

1. Install the upper transmission mount.






2. Loosely install the new upper transmission mount bracket mounting bolts.





3. Remove the jack and the wood block.

4. Tighten the upper transmission mount bracket mounting bolts.

5. Install the air cleaner Service and Repair.

6. Install the engine compartment covers Service and Repair.

7. Install the front splash shield Front Splash Shield Replacement.
