Replacing Backrest Heating Element For Front Seat

Replacing backrest heating element for left or right sports seat

Remove seat cushion,

Removing backrest shell,

Remove backrest cover,








Installation:
Heating mat is secured together with the cover on the padding.


CAUTION!
Do not damage the heating elements in heating mat.







Installation:
Lock new retainers by bending with special tool 52 0 050.

(1) Padding
(2) Retainer
(3) Securing rod in padding
(4) Securing rod in cover
(5) Heating mat
(6) Cover







Guide wires for backrest heating through seat cushion shell.

Installation:
Attach adapter cables 61 2 071 and 61 2 072 to black plug and connect to a 12 V power source.

Check function.
