Starter Solenoid: Service and Repair

Replacing Magnet Switch




- Remove starter motor.
- Remove cover.




- Unscrew and remove magnet switches (1 and 2).

Installation:
- Do not twist cable shoe when tightening down - danger of short circuit.




- Remove magnet switches (1) and springs (2).
- Disconnect pin (3).

Installation:
- Check pin (3) for signs of wear and lubricate with grease.
