Removing And Installing Or Replacing Selector Lever

Remove mounting block, refer to Remove Selector Lever With Mounting Block.
Remove transmission switch after unscrewing screws (1 and 2).

Installation:
Screws are micro-encapsulated and must be replaced after each removal.
For tightening torque, refer to Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, Specification.





Move selector lever until transmission switch can be taken off drive pin through slot (3).





Installation:
Bead (9) on transmission switch must engage in bore (10).





Pry off retainer (1).

Installation:
Replace retainer (1).
Drive out shaft pin.

Installation:
Lubricate bearing surfaces with Kluber Polylub GLY 801 or equivalent.
