51 44 150 Replace cover for front roof lining (top cowl panel)







IMPORTANT:
Risk of damage.
When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- If necessary, open soft top
- Remove roof switch cluster
- Remove both sun visors
- Remove both front mirror lights
- Unclip both trim panels for the front roof pillar (only in the area between the cover for the roof lining)







Fold the top edge protection (1) towards the side and undo the screws below (2) on both sides.

Installation note:
Please observe the correct position of the edge protection (1) at the cover (3) along the dotted line.







Undo edge protection (1) from the cover (2).
Pull back the cover (2) in the direction of the arrow and remove it.

Installation note:
Make sure edge protection (1) is correctly seated.
Please observe the correct position of the electrical lines







Installation note:
Guides (1) at the cover (2) must not be damaged.

Replacement:
Convert cable duct (3).
