51 37 240 Removing and installing or replacing outer window cavity cover strip for door window, rear left or right

Special tools required:







Open door window.
Detach edge protection (1).
Raise the latch mechanism (2) on the corner of the weather strip in direction of arrow.







Attach adhesive tape (1) below window cavity cover strip (2) (paintwork damage).
Using special tool 00 9 311 (beginning at front and proceeding to rear), lever out weather strip (2).







Installation note:
The following parts of the weather strip must not be damaged:
