COOLANT FAN - NO HIGH SPEED CHECK

3.0L "A" SERIES

CARBURETED

1. Checks for loss of 12 volts at either high speed relay connector terminal. Both "1" and "5" should light test light.
2. By jumpering the relay connector terminals in this step, the contact points in the relay are bypassed. If high speed fan comes on, fault is in relay wiring or relay. If no high speed fan, fault is in motor wiring.
