Air Door Actuator / Motor: Description and Operation

With the exception of the electrically positioned bi-level (Air-Mix/Temperature) valve, the A/C mode valves are positioned by vacuum powered actuators. Three logic inputs from the controller determine the state of the programmer's four vacuum solenoids. When a particular solenoid is energized, vacuum is applied to its associated valve actuator.
