Housing Pressure Cold Advance Solenoid, Replace

Fig. 59 Exploded view of CAV pump:

1. Remove governor control cover, see ``Governor Control Cover Gasket, Replace.''
2. Remove solenoid terminal nut, spring filter, insulating washers and solenoid, Fig. 59. Discard gasket.
3. Reverse procedure to install. Torque terminal nut to 20 in. lbs. and ensure solenoid is centered in cover.
