MODELS AFFECTED: 1985 ELECTRAS EQUIPPED WITH 3.8L MFI ENGINE (VIN CODE 3)
Some 1985 Electras, with less than a quarter of a tank of gas, may experience an excessive amount of fuel gauge fluctuation and/or a no-start or run out of fuel condition when on an incline. A tank with a new reservoir has been developed to correct these conditions. The new tank part number is 25527547, and is currently available through GMWDD.
