The air dryer, Fig. 1, is attached externally to the air compressor output and performs two functions. First, the air dryer contains a dry chemical, Fig. 2, that absorbs moisture from the air before the air is delivered to the air adjustable shock absorbers and returns moisture to the air when the system air is being exhausted. This action prolongs the life of the chemical. Second, the air dryer contains a valving arrangement that maintains minimum air pressure in the air adjustable shock absorbers.
