The engine cooling fan is turned on when the fan control relay is energized by the ECM.
Fan will be on when:
- Coolant temperature is greater than 110°C (230°F).
- A/Conditioning on and vehicle speed less than 40 MPH
- Code 14 or 15, coolant sensor failure
