1. Remove engine from vehicle as described under ``Engine, Replace.''
2. Remove valve lifters and engine front cover as described previously.
3. Remove fuel pump and push rod.
4. Remove timing chain and sprocket as described under ``Timing Chain, Replace.''
5. Withdraw camshaft from engine, using care not to damage camshaft bearings.
6. Reverse procedure to install. When installing timing chain, align valve timing marks as shown in Fig. 15.
