1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove radiator hose clamp bolt.
2. Disconnect and cap hydraulic lines at power steering pump.
3. Remove power steering pump to rear bracket attaching nut.
4. Remove front pump bracket to engine and front pump bracket to rear pump bracket attaching bolts, Fig. 14.
5. Remove pump and bracket assembly from vehicle.
6. Reverse procedure to install.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect electrical connector at blower motor, then remove blower motor from vehicle.
3. Disconnect heater hose from water pump and hydraulic lines from power steering pump. Cap lines to avoid fluid leakage.
4. Remove rear pump bracket to engine bracket attaching nut and front pump bracket to cylinder head attaching bolts, Fig. 15.
5. Remove pump and bracket assembly from vehicle.
6. Reverse procedure to install.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove air cleaner.
2. Remove alternator drive belt and alternator, then raise and support vehicle.
3. Remove rear adjustment bracket to pump retaining nut, Fig. 16.
4. Remove alternator adjustment bracket and power steering pump drive belt.
5. Remove double nut and two studs, then the alternator mounting bracket.
6. Remove rear pump adjustment bracket, then disconnect hydraulic lines from power steering pump. Cap lines to prevent spillage of fluid.
7. Remove pump and bracket assembly from vehicle.
8. Reverse procedure to install.

1. Rotate drive belt tensioner counterclockwise, remove serpentine drive belt, then slowly release tensioner.
2. Raise and support vehicle and remove right front wheel.
3. Place suitable drain pan under pump assembly, disconnect lines from pump, then plug lines and open ports.
4. Remove bolts and nut securing pump and the pump, Fig. 19.
5. Remove pulley using J-25034 or equivalent.
6. Install pulley on replacement pump using J-25033 or equivalent, then reverse remaining procedure to complete installation.
