Master Cylinder Removal

CAUTION: Brake fluid will damage electrical connections and painted surfaces. Use shop cloths, drip pans and fender covers to prevent brake fluid from contacting these areas.

- Remove pushrod from brake pedal (manual master cylinder).

Failure Warning Switch:

- Remove electrical connector at warning switch.

Removing/Installing Master Cylinder Assembly:

- Remove tube nuts and hydraulic lines. Plug open pipes to prevent fluid loss and contamination.
- Remove the two master cylinder attaching nuts.
- Remove master cylinder.
