Digital Dash Replacement

Instrument Cluster And Switches:




Instrument Cluster Panel Trim:






NOTE: The information stored in the removable "non-volatile memory" which MUST stay with the car.

CLUSTER REMOVAL AND DISASSEMBLY

1. Remove the trim around the cluster.

2. Take out the 5 screws and remove the black plastic cover trim.

3. Take out 4 screws holding white plastic cluster in place. Remove the flexible dark plastic name covers from over the indicator bulbs.


Instrument Cluster Trim:






4. Grasp the white plastic partitions around the indicator bulbs as shown in the figure. Work the cluster loose from the connectors behind it and remove it. Do not touch the pins on the vacuum fluorescent display at the top of the cluster.

5. Remove the NVM chip from behind the cluster is repair or replacement occurs.
