LUGGAGE CARRIER INSTALLATION LOCATIONS:

Some comments have been received that decklid weatherstripping is being damaged by the screws securing the front of the accessory luggage rack (P/N 998882).

The instruction sheet accompanying the luggage rack was specifically developed for Century, Electra/Park Avenue and Skylark car installations. The instruction sheet does not apply to Somerset car because it has a shorter deck lid.

To properly locate the luggage carrier on Somerset car installations, the 120 mm dimension on the instruction sheet should be changed to 80 mm.. (See illustration).
