SUBJECT: CLUTCH PEDAL FREE-PLAY INFORMATION
MODELS AFFECTED: 1984-85 SKYHAWK & 1985 SOMERSET REGAL
1984 Skyhawk and early 1985 Somerset Regal models are equipped with a cable controlled clutch mechanism. Clutch pedal free-play adjustment is required every 5,000 miles or less. The clutch adjustment is performed by simply lifting up on the clutch pedal.
1985 Skyhawk models are equipped with a hydraulic clutch and do not require a free-play adjustment. The hydraulic clutch is also scheduled for mid-year production of the 1985 Somerset Regal.
