Front Door Hinge: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the door (2).
2. Mark the location of the hinge.
3. Remove the bolts from the body.
4. Remove the hinge (1, 3) from the body (4).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. install the hinge (1, 3) to the body (4).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 48 N.m (35 lb ft).

3. Install the door (2) to the hinges (1, 3). Door Replacement.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 48 N.m (35 lb ft).

4. Inspect the door (2) for the proper alignment.
5. Adjust the door as needed. Refer to Door Adjustment.
