Coolant Heater Replacement (Rear)

Removal Procedure





1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector at the engine block heater.
3. Drain the engine coolant.
4. Remove the coolant heater retaining bolt.
5. Remove the coolant heater.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the coolant heater.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the coolant heater retaining bolt.
- Tighten the coolant heater bolt to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
3. Connect the electrical connector to the coolant heater.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Refill the engine coolant.
