Fan Shroud: Service and Repair

Fan Shroud Replacement (LY7 - Gas, 6 CYL, 3.6L, SFI, V6, Alum)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the fan. Refer to Fan Replacement (LY7) (Service and Repair) .
2. Disconnect the condenser tube from the fan shroud retainer clip.




3. Remove the cooling fan shroud retaining bolts.
4. Remove the cooling fan shroud.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the cooling fan shroud.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the cooling fan shroud retaining bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 5.4 N.m (48 lb in).

3. Connect the condenser tube to the fan shroud retainer clip.
4. Install the fan. Refer to Fan Replacement (LY7) (Service and Repair) .
