Evaporative Emission Front Pipe Replacement (AWD)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement Intake Manifold Cover Replacement.




2. Disconnect the EVAP emission front pipe (1) from the EVAP purge solenoid valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.

3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.




4. Disconnect the EVAP emission front pipe (1) from the EVAP emission canister purge pipe. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.

5. Remove the EVAP emission front pipe (1) from the retainers (2).

6. Remove the EVAP emission front pipe (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the EVAP emission front pipe (1) to the vehicle.

2. Install the EVAP emission front pipe (1) to the retainers (2).

3. Connect the EVAP emission front pipe (1) to the EVAP emission canister purge pipe. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.

4. Lower the vehicle.




5. Connect the EVAP emission front pipe (1) to the EVAP purge solenoid valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.

6. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement Intake Manifold Cover Replacement.
