Door Removal - Front (Monte Carlo)

Removal Procedure




1. Open and support the front door.
2. Remove the front door rubber conduit. Refer to Front Side Door Wiring Conduit Replacement (Impala) (Front Side Door Wiring Conduit Replacement)Front Side Door Wiring Conduit Replacement (Monte Carlo) (Front Side Door Wiring Conduit Replacement).
3. Remove the intermediate door hinge bolts with the help of an assistant.
4. Remove the front door with the help of an assistant.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front door with the help of an assistant.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the intermediate door hinge bolts with the help of an assistant.

Tighten the intermediate door hinge bolts to 33 Nm (24 lb ft).

3. Remove the support from the front door.
4. Install the front door rubber conduit. Refer to Front Side Door Wiring Conduit Replacement (Impala) (Front Side Door Wiring Conduit Replacement)Front Side Door Wiring Conduit Replacement (Monte Carlo) (Front Side Door Wiring Conduit Replacement).
5. Inspect the front door for proper operation and alignment. Refer to Door Adjustment Door Adjustment (Front) (Adjustments).
