Traction Control Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Remove the front floor console trim plate screw (1).
3. Position the transaxle shift control lever as required.
4. Lift the front floor console trim plate up and rearward for access to the traction control switch.




5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the traction control switch.
6. Remove the traction control switch from the floor console trim plate.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the traction control switch to the floor console trim plate.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the traction control switch.




3. Carefully install the floor console trim plate. Make sure all of the retainers are fully engaged.
4. Position the transaxle shift control lever to Park.
5. Install the floor console trim plate screw (1).

Tighten
Tighten the floor console trim plate screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

6. Release the parking brake.
