Chime Module Replacement

Removal Procedure





Caution:
Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement Knee Bolster Replacement.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector.

4. Remove the screws and the chime module.

Installation Procedure





Notice:
Refer to Fastener Notice Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the chime module with the screws.

Tighten the chime module screws to 4 Nm (35 lb in).

2. Connect the electrical connector.

3. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement Knee Bolster Replacement.

4. Connect the negative battery cable.
