Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Use jacks in order to support the front suspension crossmember. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
2. Lower the front suspension crossmember slightly in order to access the stabilizer shaft insulator brackets. Refer to Front Suspension Crossmember Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the bolts from the stabilizer shaft insulator brackets.
4. Remove the brackets from the stabilizer shaft insulators.
5. Remove the stabilizer shaft insulators.
6. Clean the stabilizer shaft.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the insulators to the stabilizer shaft.
2. Install the brackets to the stabilizer shaft insulators.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).
3. Install the bolts to the stabilizer shaft insulator brackets.
Tighten the stabilizer shaft insulator bracket bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
4. Raise and install the front suspension crossmember. Refer to Front Suspension Crossmember Replacement (Service and Repair).
5. Remove the jacks and lower the vehicle.
