Valve Lifter Oil Manifold Cleaning and Inspection





Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution .

Important:
* Do not disassemble the electrical components from the manifold.

* Do not submerge the electrical components in cleaning solvent.

* Do not reuse the manifold gasket. Always install a NEW service gasket during assembly.

* Do not reuse the LOMA oil manifold filter. Always install a NEW filter during assembly.



1. Inspect for a damaged electrical connector or bent or corroded pins (1).
2. Inspect for loose or damaged electrical solenoids (2).
3. Inspect for damage to the manifold body (3).
4. Inspect for damage to the valve lifter retainer (4).




5. Inspect for a damaged or scored gasket sealing surface (1).
6. Inspect for debris or restrictions within all the oil passages of the manifold (2).
7. Remove and discard the LOMA oil manifold filter (3).
