Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement - Accessory
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory (Service and Repair) .
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
3. Remove the right wheel and tire. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
4. Remove the right engine splash shield.
5. Remove the power steering gear inlet hose retainer bolt (2).
6. Remove the drive belt tensioner bolts.
7. Remove the drive belt tensioner.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the drive belt tensioner.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .
2. Install the drive belt tensioner bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
3. Install the power steering gear inlet hose retainer bolt (2).
Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
4. Install the right engine splash shield.
5. Install the right wheel and tire. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory (Service and Repair) .
