Digital Radio Receiver Replacement (Extended Sedan)

Removal Procedure

Important: Do not swap digital radio receivers between vehicles. Swapping digital receivers between vehicles will activate the digital radio Theftlock, "XM Theftlock" will be displayed.

1. Remove the rear quarter lower trim panel.




2. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the receiver.




3. Remove the fastener from the receiver and remove the receiver.

Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

1. Install the receiver and secure with the fastener.

Tighten the fastener to 3 N.m (26 lb in).




2. Connect the electrical connector to the receiver.
3. Install the rear quarter lower trim panel.
4. Perform the setup procedure for the digital radio receiver. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
