Front Bumper Fascia Replacement


Removal Procedure

1.Apply tape to the corners of the adjacent surfaces.

2.Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

3.Remove the headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement .

4.Disconnect the fog lamps electrical connectors, if equipped. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement , if equipped.





5.Remove the push-in retainers from the front bumper fascia upper support.





1.Remove the front wing nuts from the lower air deflector baffle.

2.Reposition the lower air deflector baffle from the front fascia.





1.Remove the push-in retainers from the front bumper fascia to the front fender liner.





1.Pull back the front fender liner and remove the bolt from the front bumper fascia to the front fender.





1.Remove the bolt from the front bumper fascia to the front fender.





1.With an assistant, remove the front bumper fascia from the vehicle.

2.If replacing the front fascia remove the following parts:

-Remove the front fascia molding. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Molding Replacement .

-Remove the front fascia upper grille. Refer to Fascia Grille Replacement .

-Remove the front fascia lower grille. Refer to Front Bumper Lower Fascia Grille Replacement .

-Remove the fog lamp, if equipped. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement .

-Remove the licence plate and bracket. Refer to Front License Plate Bracket Replacement .

-Remove the front air dam. Refer to Front Air Dam Replacement Service and Repair .

-Remove the front energy absorber. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement .

Installation Procedure

1.If replacing the front fascia install the following parts:

-Install the front fascia molding. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Molding Replacement .

-Install the front fascia upper grille. Refer to Fascia Grille Replacement .

-Install the front fascia lower grille. Refer to Front Bumper Lower Fascia Grille Replacement .

-Install the fog lamp, if equipped. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement .

-Install the licence plate and bracket. Refer to Front License Plate Bracket Replacement .

-Install the front air dam. Refer to Front Air Dam Replacement Service and Repair .

-Install the front energy absorber. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement .





2.With an assistant, position the front bumper fascia to the vehicle. Ensure that the fascia is engaged to the shoulder bolts at the front of the fenders.





1.Install the push-in retainers to the front bumper fascia to front bumper fascia upper support.

Notice:Refer to Fastener Notice .





1.Pull back the front fender liner and install the bolt from the front bumper fascia to the front fender.

TightenTighten the bolts to 10 N �m (89 lb in).





1.Install the push-in retainers to the front bumper fascia to the front fender liner.





1.Install the bolts to the front bumper fascia to the front fender.

TightenTighten the bolts to 10 N �m (89 lb in).

1.Install the headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement .

2.Connect the fog lamps electrical connectors, if equipped. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement , if equipped.





3.Reposition the lower air deflector baffle to the front fascia.

Install the wing nuts to the lower air deflector baffle and hand tighten.

4.Lower the vehicle.

5.Remove the protective tape.
