Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (60 Percent Side)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement (40 Percent Side) Rear Seat Replacement (60 Percent Side) .
2. Remove the seat back trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Seat Back .
3. Remove the seat cushion outer trim panel. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Seat .
4. Remove the head restraint guides. Refer to Head Restraint Guide Replacement - Rear No. 1 .
5. Remove the seat belt guide. Refer to Guide Replacement - Rear Seat Shoulder Belt (Extended Sedan) .
6. Remove the armrest. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement .
7. Remove the seat back filler panel. Refer to Seat Back Filler Panel Replacement - Rear .




8. Remove the anchor bolt from the center seat belt.




9. Remove the seat belt anchor.
10. Slip the seat belt anchor through the opening in the top of the seat back cushion.




11. Remove all J-strips and remove the seat back cover and pad from the vehicle.




12. Disconnect the hog rings to remove the seat back cover from the pad.



Installation Procedure





1. Connect the hog rings to install the seat back cover into the pad.




2. Install the seat back cover and pad to the vehicle and install all J-strips.
3. Slip the seat belt anchor through the opening in the top of the seat back cushion.




4. Install the seat belt anchor.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .

5. Install the anchor bolt to the center seat belt.

Tighten the bolt to 35 N.m (25 lb ft).

6. Install the seat back filler panel. Refer to Seat Back Filler Panel Replacement - Rear .
7. Install the armrest. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement .
8. Install the seat belt guide. Refer to Guide Replacement - Rear Seat Shoulder Belt (Extended Sedan) .
9. Install the head restraint guides. Refer to Head Restraint Guide Replacement - Rear No. 1 .
10. Install the seat cushion outer trim panel. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Seat .
11. Install the seat back trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Seat Back .
12. Install the seat to the vehicle. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement (40 Percent Side) Rear Seat Replacement (60 Percent Side) .
