Rear Side Door Upper Auxiliary Weatherstrip Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Lower door window.
2. Remove inner sealing strip retainer peg.
3. Lift one end of secondary weatherstrip.
4. Carefully pull secondary weatherstrip from door frame.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the front weatherstrip retaining peg. Work the weatherstrip toward rear upper corner.
2. Install the rear weatherstrip locating notch at the belt line.

Important: Fully seat the weatherstrip against the trim edge of the header.

3. Insert the retainer pin into the inner panel. Push the weatherstrip (1) to secure the remaining material onto the pinch-weld flange. Work from both ends toward the middle of the window frame header.
