Oil Level Indicator and Tube Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator.
2. Remove the knock sensor electrical connector clip (3) from the oil level indicator tube.




3. Remove the oil level indicator.
4. Remove the oil level indicator tube bolt.
5. Remove the oil level indicator tube.
6. Remove the oil level indicator tube seal, if required.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the oil level indicator tube seal, if required.
2. Install the oil level indicator tube.
3. Install the oil level indicator tube bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Install the oil level indicator.




5. Install the knock sensor electrical connector clip (3) to the oil level indicator tube.
6. Install the air cleaner outlet resonator.
