Fuel Hose/Pipes Replacement - Engine Compartment

Removal Procedure




1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief. Fuel Pressure Relief
2. Disconnect the chassis fuel feed pipe quick connect fitting (1) from the engine fuel feed pipe.
3. Disconnect the engine fuel feed pipe quick connect fitting (4) from the fuel rail.
4. Remove the fuel feed pipe clips (2) from the fuel feed pipe bracket.


Installation Procedure




1. Connect the engine fuel feed pipe quick connect fitting (4) to the fuel rail.
2. Connect the chassis fuel feed pipe quick connect fitting (1) to the engine fuel feed pipe.
3. Install the fuel feed pipe clips (2) to the fuel feed pipe bracket.
4. Tighten the fuel fill cap.
5. Inspect for leaks.

1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF for 10 seconds.
2. Turn OFF the ignition for 10 seconds.
3. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
4. Inspect for fuel leaks.
