Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Reposition the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose clamp at the outlet duct/resonator.
2. Remove the PCV hose from the outlet duct/resonator.




3. Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct/resonator clamps at the air cleaner housing and the throttle body.
4. Remove the air outlet duct/resonator.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the air outlet duct/resonator.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct/resonator clamps at the air cleaner housing and the throttle body.

Tighten the clamps to 4 N.m (35 lb in).




3. Install the PCV hose to the outlet duct/resonator.
4. Position the PCV hose clamp at the outlet duct/resonator.
