Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Disable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling (Service and Repair) .




2. Remove the fastener from the seat belt D-ring and remove the D-ring.




3. Remove the adjustable shoulder belt knob.
4. Starting at the top, remove the garnish molding by pulling forward.



Installation Procedure

1. Starting at the bottom, install the garnish molding to the vehicle.




2. Install the adjustable shoulder belt knob.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

3. Position the seat belt D-ring and install the D-ring fastener.

Tighten the fastener to 35 N.m (25 lb ft).

4. Enable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling (Service and Repair) .
