Sunroof Housing Rear Drain Hose Replacement (Extended Sedan)
Removal Procedure
1. Open the liftgate.
2. It is only necessary to lower the headliner. Only do those step in headliner replacement that will lower the headliner enough to gain access to the part. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) (Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
4. Disconnect the rear sunroof drain hose from the sunroof drain spigot.
5. Disengage the sunroof drain hose from the attachment clips on the roof rail, the D-pillar, and the rear compartment.
6. Disconnect the drain hose from the grommet seated in the body rear end panel behind the tail lamp.
7. Disconnect the grommet from the drain hose.
8. Remove the drain hose from the rear compartment.
9. If necessary, pull the grommet into the rear compartment to remove.
Installation Procedure
1. Pass the rear sunroof drain hose down the D-pillar and into the rear compartment.
2. Connect the rear sunroof drain hose to the sunroof drain spigot.
3. Connect the drain hose to the attachment clips on the roof rail, the D-pillar, and the rear compartment.
4. Install the grommet into the opening in the body rear end panel, if necessary. Ensure that the grommet is fully seated.
5. Connect the end of the drain hose to the grommet.
6. Install the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
7. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) (Service and Repair) .
8. Close the liftgate.
