Rear Disc Brake Backing Plate Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the wheel bearing/hub. Refer to Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (Rear Suspension) .

Important: The backing plate is attached to the steering knuckle through the wheel bearing hub bolts.


2. Remove the backing plate from the steering knuckle.



Installation Procedure

1. Install the backing plate to the steering knuckle.
2. Install the wheel bearing/hub. Refer to Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (Rear Suspension) .
