Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) left trim panels. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the I/P right trim panels. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the I/P compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement (Service and Repair) .
4. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement (Service and Repair) .





Important: The I/P center trim bezel is painted and can be damaged. Pull on the bottom of the bezel to disengage the lower clips first or damage to the HVAC control module could occur.


5. Remove the I/P center trim bezel.
6. Remove the hazard switch. Refer to Hazard Warning Switch Replacement (Service and Repair) .



Installation Procedure

1. Install the hazard switch. Refer to Hazard Warning Switch Replacement (Service and Repair) .




2. Install the I/P center trim bezel.
3. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement (Service and Repair) .
4. Install the I/P compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement (Service and Repair) .
5. Install the I/P right trim panels. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Service and Repair) .
6. Install the I/P left trim panels. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair) .
