PCV Valve Hose: Service and Repair

Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (1st Design) Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (2nd Design) .
2. Reposition the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose clamp (1) at the camshaft cover.
3. Remove the PCV hose (2) from the camshaft cover.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the PCV hose (2) to the camshaft cover.
2. Position the PCV hose clamp (1) at the camshaft cover.
3. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (1st Design) Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (2nd Design) .
