Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Installation (1.4L LUH and LUJ)




1. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the 3 exhaust manifold heat shield bolts (1) and the washers and tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb in).
