Circuit/System Verification
Ignition ON, observe the lamp of the sunshade mirror lamp - left/sunshade mirror lamp - right while opening and closing. The lamp should illuminate when opened.
Circuit/System Testing
1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate inoperative sunshade.
2. Test for less than 5 ohm between the ground circuit terminal B and ground.
• If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
3. Ignition ON, test for greater than 11 V between B+ circuit terminal A and the ground circuit terminal B.
• If less than the specified range, test the circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the K9 BCM.
4. If all circuits test normal, test or replace the appropriate inoperative sunshade.
