Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair




2. Remove the lower stabilizer shaft link nut (1).

3. Disconnect the stabilizer shaft link from the rear lower control arm.




4. Remove the upper stabilizer shaft link nut (1).

5. Disconnect the stabilizer shaft link from the stabilizer shaft.

6. Remove the stabilizer shaft link.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the stabilizer shaft link.

2. Connect the stabilizer shaft link to the stabilizer shaft.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

3. Install the upper stabilizer shaft link nut (1) and tighten to 60 Nm (44 lb ft) + 30 degrees.

4. Connect the stabilizer shaft link to the rear lower control arm.




5. Install the lower stabilizer shaft link nut (1) and tighten to 60 Nm (44 lb ft) + 30 degrees.
