Secondary Air Injection Check Valve Cleaning and Inspection





1. Inspect the secondary air injection (SAI) check valve for the following:

* Damage to the SAI check valve feed pipe fitting (1)

* Damage to the SAI check valve mounting bolt holes (2)

* Damage to the SAI check valve gasket sealing surface (3)

* Damage to the SAI check valve inlet port (4)

2. Replace the SAI check valve as necessary.
